Park with the flaps down will get you quite a bit more room at your pinch point.

If I can find a 600 or a 600A with deice boots I'll buy it. Question: Will those engines run lean of peak?

(Let's save the never ending LOP vs ROP argument. Not saying I will, just wondering if I can.)

If you pull the power back stock 601P will run LOP.
23 or 24 in vs 27 if I'm in a hurry...

Might want to review the ElectroAir install manual on that. The coil pack is NOT allowed to be mounted directly to the engine, it needs to be mounted either on an engine mount or the firewall. The vibrations from the engine will eventually cause the coil pack to fail.

Curious on 700 (P or Machen) cruise numbers. At FL200 in my 601P I’m seeing 220 true at 32gph (ROP). This is a non intercooled 601P, also be curious to hear if anyone has intercooled numbers. Obviously the takeoff and climb performance is better with the bigger engines.
