She’s great to work with. Just had 4 done.

Pilatus new move is to buy all the fuel pump overhaul parts. In December had to have one done based upon time limit it was 1700. Needed another one done this month and it was no parts available 300+ days for parts. I finally found the parts and got it done for 2400. Pilatus wants 19k for an overhaul and 20k core charge. 36k new. The parts manufacturer told me they don’t have a reason to produce more parts for the overhaul right now as pilatus has plenty of parts and it’s a waste of their cash to produce parts. That is a direct quote from the CEO.

Who makes the PC12 fuel pump?

Does LMCO overhaul them or were they a parts source?

Hi Craig, I got in touch with Sherrie. I had a question for you about your PM, but I still don't have the ability to respond. Would you mind PM'ing me an alternate way to reach you?

Steve

Thats a pretty nasty move by Pilatus.

It seems to be their business model.
To squeeze owners into a corner and extract as much money as possible from them to keep their planes airworthy.

Makes you think twice before wanting to buy one.
But I guess TBM isn't any better.

Emptying the marked to intercept owners feels like sabotage

TBM is much better. There are overhaul options for most accessories. Daher makes the MM and CMM's available for free to owners except for a few that are under Safran
