Bonanza Five Flying Club is a unique aircraft partnership based at Dekalb-Peachtree Airport (KPDK) in Atlanta, GA. The club was formed in 1987 at PDK with five members and one A36 Bonanza. The desire by area pilots to join the group was so great that within a couple of years the group had purchased a second A36 and added five more members. The club has operated continuously at KPDK since 1987. Recently, when the opportunity to obtain a third hangar arose, the club members voted to add a third A36 Bonanza and five more members. There is currently a vacancy in the club membership presenting an opportunity for a pilot to enjoy the benefits of A36 Bonanza partnership without the high costs associated with sole ownership. Each Flying Membership of the club represents an equal share in the Club’s assets. There is a $100/hr dry rate for flight time and a monthly maintenance fee to cover fixed costs like insurance, hangars, etc. There is no daily minimum hour requirement or overnight fees when making trips. An online schedule program is utilized to reserve aircraft. This is a rare opportunity. The Bonanza Five club may sometimes go for years without an open membership in the group. Minimum qualifications are 500 hours Total Time (exceptions can be made with insurance company approval) and an Instrument Rating. Check out the Bonanza Five Flying Club web site linked below for pictures of the aircraft and Garmin glass panels. For information about joining the club contact John Jarrell at BonanzaFiveInc@gmail.com or Rick Binkley at msterry23@hotmail.com.

That sounds like a neat arrangement.
Mind sharing the monthly fee required to keep it floating?

As far as I can tell, or find from searching, this is the only flying club in the U.S. that has 3 - A36 Bonanza aircraft. If anyone knows of another club with 3 or more Bonanza aircraft I would love to hear about them. And if you check out the pictures on the website you will see all three of our aircraft have amazing Garmin panels and beautiful interiors. It really is an fantastic group of pilots and airplanes.

Bonanza Five Flying Club is down to one available, open membership position. I wanted to update this listing in case anyone in the ATL area is interested in a Bonanza club membership situation. You can have the benefits of A36 Bonanza ownership while sharing the associated costs with your fellow members. These are exceptionally well equipped A36's with Garmin all-glass panels and Garmin autopilots, leather interiors, and meticulous maintenance plans. Reach out if you are interested.
