Attachment: 2e5jfq.jpg The new Czech factory is up and running. Baby steps so far, staff training and completing the 3 hulls that came out of the molds before the closure. And JMB took 5 orders w/ deposits for new builds at OSH, estimated delivery 12-14 months.

At the annual Evo fly-in and training last week, JMB's CEO said the plan is to deliver 2 Evos in the first 12 months, 4 in the next 12, and keep ramping up until they can match orders. He said the next open slot was in 4th quarter 2026, but that was last week, it may be gone by now. Attachment: ld-export.jpg My plane always winds up in the background, never the star of the show.

These were posted on a local aviation FB page with the caption: "Popped up to Paine Field this afternoon to get the return of the local Lancair Evolution. What an interesting looking plane." He tracked us online and drove about 15 miles each way just to watch us land. I've never had paparazzi before, I don't know whether to be flattered or creeped out. This thread is killing me... The secret to being happy is wanting what you have and in the past several years I have achieved that in so many areas in my life. But Dave you just keep rubbing it in...
I have flown the Evolution a few times for photo shoots and magazine stories. It would be the perfect airplane for my mission.
Since you continue to taunt me, I thought I would share some plane porn myself.

Doug, have you flown one of the later ones? They fly even nicer now. They reprofiled the ailerons so they no longer get stiff at high IAS. Hand-flying is now a pleasure the entire speed range.

Dave, We happened to be at S21 the same weekend as your event back in September.
I recognized your plane from this thread. It sure is sharp looking!
We were in the V-tail parked about 4-5 planes down from you.
