I have a friend who has a bit of a sarcastic streak - he spent the money to make a mural at our airport that celebrates the life of Nick Bradshaw - if that tells you anything. You can see that @auburnmunicipalairport IG.

Anyway, this is his latest creation. I do not have any, nor will I, and I'm not asking the guy for any. I didn't take the pic, and this is not me. I just thought some of you, not all, would like this.

I'd say, once you "pull the chute", you are no longer a pilot but a mere passenger". I gotta be totally "outta schlitz", skills, experience, or terrain, before I would give up to the local prevailing winds.

I do like having a parachute when flying formation.
When things go wrong, running out of all of those items can happen simultaneously.
