I have an overhauled PCU5000 set up for IO-470 engine Bonanza's. Comes with actual unit, gasket, bracket, mounting instructions. $1350 with Free shipping or Meet/PU at EAA/OSH Monday thru Wednesday as I'll be at the event enjoying myself. 1st "I'll take it" gets it. PM me for further questions or if you need a call about the governor This unit is a ATA210760L which is set to 2600 rpm for take off.
If you need the ATA210210760H, which is set at 2625 rpm for take off, there is a SL with clear direction on how to adjust and Tech data on the PN change. Let me know if you need the change and I can make it happen or you can follow the direction on the Aero Tech/PCU5000 web site.

Username Protected wrote: Curious, did you go with a different governor? I just ordered a PCU500 for my IO-550 based on an ABS recommendation. I work where they are made/assembled. I acquired this core unit on the open market and overhauled the governor in the part 145 side of our business. My boss allows me to perform the work after hours, I buy the parts from the company and when completed, I sell them. I can usually find one or two a year this way. We sell lots of Bonanza PCU5000 governors of all flavors. I'm always on the look out for core PCU5000 governors. They are great, reliable governors with parts readily available. I hope you get many years of service out of your Governor. Feel free to reach out to me if you have any governor or prop questions/issues. I've been there 37 years now...

TTT one more time. Baffled that nobody wants this. Make me an offer if the price is out of line. If no one is interested I'll convert it to an Experimental unit and sell it over on VAF site.

We are revising the OH manual though and I have been providing plenty of feedback as I work on these frequently now. Its just a matter of the set up. The sum of the basic parts is exactly the same. It would take me longer to make the new data plate then move the lever and adjust the RPM setting. Paperwork...
