After 70 years of flying, my father is finally hanging it up at the ripe young age of eighty-five. Despite retiring as a 747-400 Captain, his favorite airplane to fly since 1989 has been his Bonanza. We would love to find someone who appreciates it as much as we have over the last nearly 35 years.
Beech J-35 Bonanza Serial #D-5399 Asking $140,000
He bought this airplane from Robert E. Kieran April 18, 1989, after it had won the Reading Air Show “Best Single Engine Airplane” two years in a row.
On Feb. 10, 1990 a tornado struck the Bessemer, AL airport (KEKY) and D-5399 sustained not in motion damage when a part of the hangar fell. Repair work done on engine keel and Beryl D’Shannon 15 gal. tip tanks replaced with Brittain 20 gal. tanks. My son and I have flown the airplane over thirty years since then and it trims out great.

Nice plane, certainly doesn't look like a J with the extra baggage compartment and larger door. What is your useful load and CG?

Alan, that BEW moment doesn’t look right, not sure it is helping your ad. An empty weight CG would be better.

If you want to go fast, run 18 GPH and I'm guessing you'll get at least 180 knots true. We just don't run it that way.
