With a departure this coming week from ATW (Appleton, WI) to Texas I was doing my ops check of my SwitcheOn and noticed that it had gone offline Sunday morning. Went to the hangar to investigate and the GFI had tripped. Troubleshooting of the items connected to the circuit ensued. It ended up being isolated to the RE Tanis heater. Troubleshooting of the Tanis heater began starting with the plug then closely evaluating each of the cylinder gasket heaters noted a delamination at the heater ear pad. These are the very old style Tanis heaters that sit under the rocker box covers. Once the offending pad heater was removed from the circuit the GFI no longer tripped. Ready for pre-heting via SwitcheOn this coming week. A really great device. Just don’t overload it with a PAIR of engine heaters AND a cabin heater. The SwitcheOn will blow an internal fuse and need to be sent back to manufacturer for repair. Don’t ask me how I know Mike

I have shipped out quite a few SwitcheOns this week along with a couple of the Tanis cabin heaters. The Tanis cabin heater works very well with SwitcheOn and an engine block heater. It's a 500W heater so pulling a little over 4 amps on the 15 amp SwitcheOn limit. I have an excellent inventory of 2 and 4 Channel SwitcheOns so if you order today, I will ship them generally the same day. SwitcheOn saves you time and money from needlessly driving out to the airport the night before to plug in for preheat or saves you power by leaving your heater on all winter. These have been incredibly popular. https://www.gallagheraviationllc.com/Sw ... _c_50.html <-- Link to SwitcheOn https://www.gallagheraviationllc.com/Ta ... _c_49.html <-- Link to Tanis Cabin Heaters and Engine Heaters gallagheraviationllc@gmail.com <-- Email me 1-833-425-5288 <-- Call me 513-401-6495 <-- Call/Text/MMS me here If I do not answer, please leave a voicemail!

I have quite a few SwitcheOns shipping today and I have an excellent inventory of the 2 Channel and 4 Channel devices, along with the remote antenna. The key with the remote antenna is getting it outside of the hangar. I do that by snaking the 12 foot cord through my bifold door so my SwitcheOn is mounted to my workbench right by the door. I get awful signal in the hangar when the door is closed but with the remote antenna it works brilliantly. https://www.gallagheraviationllc.com/Sw ... _c_50.html <-- Link to SwitcheOn on my website 1-833-425-5288 <-- Call me here, please leave a voicemail if I do not answer 513-401-6495 <-- Call/Text/MMS me here, please leave a voicemail if I do not answer gallagheraviationllc@gmail.com <-- Email me here
