There is a nice M-35 for sale at Cable Airport in California. I'm not the owner but I have flown this airplane with the owner for the past 15 years. In that time the prop and governor have been overhauled. Delta strut did the nose gear strut about 5 years ago. All the compressions are good. Unfortunately the logs are not in good shape. The airplane was in Mississippi when Katrina hit. The owner flew it out to Little Rock so the airplane wasn't damaged but the logs are unreadable to that point.
I have no interest in selling this airplane or any commissions. It's just a nice pretty stock M-35 that I think would be worth looking at if you were in the market for something in that era.

My first plane was N9843R. A M-35. I wonder how long it took to build 13 airframes. A week, a day?

Great airframe.

Found it on Trade-a-Plane:

https://www.trade-a-plane.com/search?listing_id=2419771

$122,000

Looks really clean from the pics. If I had that kind of money to spend I'd go take a peek, for sure. The ad has links to a bunch of PDF documentation, too.

Good luck on the sale :peace:

122k for a lost log, damage history, runout engine, 1970s panel and interior. What’s not to like?

I agree. It's too bad the logs don't show stuff like only about 500 hours on new cylinders, recent prop and governor overhaul and the nose gear strut rebuilt and he would probably take less than 122K.
