Private airport, I own the hangar. I think this will be a good idea given gas is $6.99 self serve no prist and I can buy at $3.30 delivered.

How many gallon truck? What’s the minimum they deliver? I also have been thinking this.

Nice setup! Curious if you still have Lancair IV-P?
Best,

It’s 2200 gallons and there’s no minimum load to purchase! I sold the Lancair a few years ago. I really loved that airplane, but do not like the tsio-550! Sadly, my pet alligator crawled away towards a hangar that has a bunch of cats

So, about 5 fill ups?

I get the impression it isn't all that easy to maintain those trucks with daily sumping (especially in Florida) and filters to clean.

Not that we would dare to have such a setup at Alpine, but if we did, it would theoretically be well worth the effort to maintain ;)

Your hangar gator makes my mouse issue look lame.

No minimum is a great deal. One of the locals wanted to do the same. Another issue was the delivery trucks would only gravity feed.

Most will provide a delivery truck with its own PTO powered pump for a fee. I think they charge me about $60 per delivery as a "pump charge". That is for tanker loads into stationary tanks.

A fuel truck like Michael posted would be very easy to rig up so that it would suck out of the delivery truck and load itself.

Yes, this truck has some sort of pressure feed on it. I guess you could also open the lid on the top if you had to. This is going to be a learning experience just like anything else, but I’m tired of taxiing to self serve just to overpay for non premix. I’m excited about this!
