Virgin Galactic is the "anchor tenant" and there are a bunch (or maybe less) of smaller outfits that are renting space and trying to make a go of it.
The locals as a whole, are not happy with increased taxes to pay for the Space Port and that is understandable. If it ever takes off and their property values skyrocket, they may change their minds however. It's a ballsy proposition and I admire the politicians who have taken the risk but it may end up biting them in the ass. How do you make a million dollars in aviation...
