I’m no longer interested, the plane doesn’t have a 2 digit N number. They didn’t go all the way.

That J3 wasn't airworthy according to the local FSDO, which is why it was hung in that house. It was assembled from parts of several J3's and didn't have an airworthiness certificate last time I saw it.

exactly....that mahogany bar was probably more expensive than the Cub. Username Protected wrote: I suppose at that level it is easy to spend way more than pretty J-3 money on other art/sculpture to fill such a space... so why not?
