Is the W&B from when it left the factory? Partner tells me the plane was weighed after paint and interior were done.

Gerald, I have a copy of the most recent update (when the dual yokes were added. The broker has the logs and the W & B as well. It shows EW now at 2172, and GW at 3700 . So I guess it has gained 5 pounds, but the useful load is still well over 1500#. Thanks for asking.

John
It looks like there are shoulder harnesses for the front seats, but I can’t tell from the pictures if there are any in the rear cabin.

Shoulder harnesses are in the front seats only.
Here's a picture taken yesterday.

When was the last time it was weighed and what was the empty weight? By your answer I guess the plane has not been on a scale in some time. Your empty weight could be off by 200 pounds.
I am only asking because your claim is unusually high for a useful load on an A36. It is for a 2000 A36, but the older they are the lighter they are. For a 1970 A36, the sub 2200lbs empty weight isn't that unusual.
