I tried that. I have a friend that has a Lanceair 4P. It cruises at close to 250+ kts and is supposed to be a four seater. To fly in the pilot or co-pilot seats you are resting your chin on your knee during the flight. You would have to be a double leg amputee just to fit in the rear seats.

There is something about that TBM that a piper does not have. You have to admit. Put a TBM next to a Meridian and you know why it's more expensive. The TBM is so nicely build. So strong, so fast. I'm gonna dig into the TBM numbers in a few, I can't hold it anymore.
I'm dreaming of a G58 in the near future. But also on a King air 90, and the TBM would do it also for me.
Buying a 150 hour block on a very nice king air 90 is not the same thing of having your own plane. It is not. Life is about achievements, professionally and personally. You can have nice kids and be a proud man. You should be. Life is short. Enjoy. I'm with ya Yvés. I haven't piloted the C90 but can tell you the Baron is my favorite out of those three for pure piloting pleasure... it just feels better than anything else I have flown. The TBM is a great personal fast transport but is much heavier on the controls. Put it this way, in the Baron I can't wait to turn the autopilot off and hand fly it, in the TBM it really doesn't matter whether the autopilot is on or off (don't get me wrong I do like it). I understand the C90 feels very much like the Baron, but a bit heavier. I can tell you the Royal Duke feels very much like the Baron just a bit heavier on the controls but a nicer hand flyer than the TBM. The PC12 is a great hauler but it is surgically devoid of character, very docile handling but frankly boring. Just for perspective the Cirrus is other end of the hand flyer ranking and I can't wait to turn the autopilot on when flying it. As far as the interior space issue goes...
When the Lear 23 came out & people were complaining how small it was on the inside, Bill Lear said "well, you can't stand up in a Cadillac either"
If you want a performer, this is the plane to get.......if you want room, plenty of other a/c fit the bill.
