Just some idle speculation, but I really wonder if Textron would part with that line at any price simply for liability reasons.
Besides pairing down the build time, I'd bring in a couple of smart LoPresti style wiz kids to try to clean up as much as possible. Find a place in the country with a good population of manufacturing & production talent, OR a place that those people would like to retire to, and keep a day job.
No G1000 integrated stuff onto the certificate. Out the door with G3X panels & EIS via STC. Offer a G5 steam gauge option "on paper".
All LED lights and modern accessories. Electronic ignition. Built-in evaporative ice rack for "air-conditioning" (slide in ice rack built in drain, controls on panel), but negligible weight when not in use.
Ahhhh....what a way to make a large fortune into a small one! "Well, Rich, what did you do with your lottery money?" "Well, I blew tens of millions of dollars to resurrect a product line no one really wanted just for sentimental reasons".
But it would be glorious! Plus give a lot of talented people good paying jobs...at least for a while.

I was thinking there would be a last minute rush that would get it up to 2 billion. Which would work out to $1,018,400,000. I still think that's possible.
But at the current advertised jackpot (1.9b), the after (federal) tax lump sum payout is $967,480,000.
At least that's what this website shows.

I am comfortable and my kids are doing OK although I would probably spread Some money around with them, but what I really would like to do is give half of it to charities like ones helping early childhood education like https://thousanddays.org if the brain cells are not developed by the time the kid is 3 they never will and we have a lot of dumb people who can't look for actual evidence to make decisions with that came from poor circumstances where there was no help for the baby. and the rest I would use to help good companies building new aviation things like a 400 and 600 hp diesel aircraft engine there is an excellent engine being developed from the ashes of EPS that needs 100 million or two to get it into production. 600 hp, mechanical injection weight competitive with turbines if you look at the Jet A required for a 4 hour endurance and consider the extra fuel necessary to feed the turbine. about 50% the fuel burn.
