Attachment: 20221007_150459.jpg Who would have thought a private museum (by appointment only) in a remote corner of Montana would have the only airworthy Vickers Mk 47 Seafire? Apologies for the hijack here: but if anyone reading ever visits Johannesburg in South Africa, the SA National Museum of Military History is located on the edge of a beautiful park/zoo in central Joburg, is really small but has some incredible exhibits including Bf-109, Fw-190, Me-262, Hurricane, Spitfire, Mosquito, S.E.5, Buccaneer, C-47, Mirage III, Impala as well as extensive Boer War, WWI & II etc exhibits. Just a stunning little museum, costing a pittance to visit.
