How much does it cost to get a ride in a surplus T-38 or T-37, for an old pilot, if it is possible?

There are a couple of T-38s in civilian hands, but I have not heard of any place doing rides/training. Might not happen until the USAF replaces them. I have not heard of any T-37s in civilian hands You can fly an F-104.

What Mooney's come with adjustable rudder pedals? Get rudder pedal extensions. They come in 1 1/2 or 3 inch

Interesting fact about the Bonanza and Mooney designs: Ralph Harmon the designer of the Bonanza, designed the Mooney wing when it was converted from wood to metal. He lived in Kerrville until his death. I think he did great work on both.

--paul The Mooney Factory Service Center in Kerrville is open and doing a great job. I had work done there in May. They are doing well and hiring more people, They now have over 30 employees producing parts and taking care of the fleet.

It flies slow, makes every landing look good, bleeds speed easily, yet enables a pretty nice top end. It's pretty amazing.

Al Mooney was a tall man.
That’s why I don’t fly a Mooney.

Just wait until you meet the guy a few posts above you selling 1.5"-3" rudder pedal extensions ha..... a match made in heaven My problem is I have a taller torso than legs, so while not particularly tall (6'), I have to sit with my head a bit sideways in any Mooney I've flown. Love the planes though for what they are!

Me too, and it’s tough to beat a J for a two person airplane. But…. The twin sickness is upon me, and a Baron will probably be in the hangar at some point.
