I have more G3 LED landing and taxi lights shipping today with more on order. After installing these on N11GG and getting to utilize them (photos above), they are just fantastic, especially for the money. They are better than the larger PAR-46 Parmetheus Plus LED landing light that is installed on the nose gear of N11GG. The G3 is dual voltage (14V/28V) and comes in a PAR-36 size (4.5" diameter). It comes as a taxi light (flood light - approximately 40 degree spread) and a landing light (spot light - approximately 15 degree spread). For Bonanzas I recommend a G3 landing light in the nose box and a taxi light on the nose gear. https://www.gallagheraviationllc.com/wh ... hting.html <-- Order the G3 here 1-833-425-5288 <-- Call me here gallagheraviationllc@gmail.com <-- Email me here with questions

Yes, there was more to be desired with that design where they should have mounted the nav/strobe light external to the wingtip. Bonanzas with just centerline lighting have a lot more to be desired for, which is why I picked up the Alpine MLG lighting kit. I will be selling that soon.

That will be killer. My friend had them on his F33.
Is there any way to adjust the landing light on the cowl? Mine looks to be pointing too low.

Unfortunately no, so if you have an inflated strut that sits high the landing light won't aim to the ground for taxi very well. With the Alpine lights you can aim them a little with the bracket that comes with the kit.

You can add a layer of rubber/foam to the lower half of the mounting ring I had to do this to mine

James…I have a 66 V35 that has a PAR46 nose gear taxi light. You mentioned a few posts back that you replaced your PAR46 nose gear light with the new G3 PAR36 taxi light? How does it fit? Do you need an adapter or fabricate a bracket to put a PAR36 in a PAR46 “hole”?

How does it fit? Do you need an adapter or fabricate a bracket to put a PAR36 in a PAR46 “hole”? That did not work out for me. Unfortunately the steerable nose gear PAR-36 casting did not fit on the nose gear of my Bonanza so I elected to just keep what I have (which is what you have). WAT just announced the launch of their new PAR-46 G3, which I'm really excited about. It's a 250,000 candela power LED lamp whereas the WAT Parmetheus Plus is a 110,000 candela powered lamp. I should have them available for sale toward the end of the month. I'd recommend just keeping that housing and stick one of these new G3s on your nose gear. If you want to pre-order, email me at gallagheraviationllc@gmail.com and we can work something out.
