For anyone that is keeping their FCS-810 working (like me), I've got the following just removed working:
(1) IN-831A - 4000172-8503 HSI - Repaired by Castleberry with 8130 in 2/19. This one has the bootstrap option. $500.

Price reduction. $650. Great spare if you are still running this system.

Just curious. What did you replace it with? Aspen?

$500. If you still have the 810 this would be a great spare.

I'd be all over this but I already have TWO sets of spares (hsi, gyro, flux valve etc)!... My Bendix system was installed in my Mooney in the late seventies , zero issues since owning it over the last 14 years... As my avionics engineer said a while back, this is a pretty prehistoric HSI, don't know who can work on it but looks pretty bulletproof... I guess it is!

Castleberry did the work on this one and my AI/FD. Not sure how many shops still do bench repair on them, but they do.
