Still pinching myself. Phoenix to Columbus in 3.5 hours. Actually Columbus to Phoenix, a few hours visiting and return in the same day. Crazy!

Hi Guys,

SN 1200 is under contract. While I can't discuss specifics since the deal is ongoing, let's just say that values are definitely up, and $2.995 wasn't overly optimistic for an asking price. Anyway, also just wanted to mention that we MIGHT get a straight P180 with Garmin upgrades to sell sometime soon. History is good, with no damage. The owner won't give it away, but it is a pretty solid airplane.

@ Anthony, I haven't forgotten about our conversation a few weeks ago. The guy we discussed disappeared, but sometime soon, I'll head up from APA for a visit. It would be great to meet you in person and see your P180 and the desk!

Cheers- Bryon Mobley

Hope everyone has enjoyed the holidays!

Well the group that was the final bid didn’t seem quite up to the task at hand. Perhaps this will result in things actually moving forward.

They are producing planes at present, right?

Yes. We are helping a client purchase a new Evo for delivery in early May.

Congrats. That was the one with the gear up incident in San Jose, right? Congrats on getting $3m for it!

The crazy part is you burned half the fuel of a Citation Ultra and we’re probably only 30 min longer in the entire trip!

It's not just fast Matt but long. KWPA/KSTS on the 19th was 4.22 for 1235NM. A bit long in the seat but not uncomfortable. Landed with 550 lbs. Home yesterday was exactly 3.0.

Tail winds weren't this strong all the way but it's always fun going that fast over the ground.

Yes. I generally run between 780 and 790. I asked one of the Avanti instructors who flew for Avantair what they ran them at and he said "820 when we were going some where". He wasn't paying for the overhauls.

Are there any engineers in the crowd that can tell us what that puts the temp at the first stage nozzles?

441 TPE331-10 has EGT only which is 450 max, but I assume 800 or so ITT if we had that gauge.

It depends entirely on where you measure in hot stage or exhaust chain. And in the case of the TPE's, most have some sort of ambient and alt temp compensation.

And we are all well aware of the quality of their overhauls, isn't it?

IIRC an engine in perfect shape shall be able to deliver the certified 850 SHP running at no more than 785 °C, and this helps to increase the engine life.

My question asks about the first stage nozzles (the hottest part).
