Rough idea on the rebuild costs? Also, what's the gross with that useful load? CG?

Yikes! What’s the TBO on this Bo’s engine anyways? 1700? 2000?

No bet. Buddy just did an engine on his Seneca, and it was 55k without the turbo.

I'm looking to purchase another airplane and contacted Ly-Con in Visalia, CA, for an ESTIMATE of time and cost to overhaul various models of engines. I received a response on November 30th for the following engines with ESTIMATED costs to overhaul with the following caveat "ALL DEPENDS ON THE MODEL AND CONDITION OF THE ENGINE AND AT THE PRESENT TIME WE ARE QUOTING APPROXIMATELY 6 MONTHS TO GET ONE THROUGH OUR SHOP". The engines I specifically inquired about overhaul costs are: IO-470 $35,000 plus various options and extras IO-520 $40,000 plus various options and extras IO-550 $50,000 plus various options and extras Doesn't include any time or cost for your shop or mechanic, just the engine. Ly-Con does good work in my opinion. Call Chris 559.651.1070 or email chris@lycon.comObviously the above are not TN. Jim

Beautiful aircraft. I’m no Bo expert but I don’t recall ever seeing one with TKS.
