Y’all come check us out; get a car from the FBO and drive that 1/2 mile to the school. We’re just across the street from KGDJ.

Hey Mark. They can walk that stretch!!! :peace:

Mark,
What a great project!! If you have some time, please take a look at the EAA's Aeroeducate program. Perhaps your high school can use some of the material. It's completely free. From the website:

AeroEducate is a Teacher’s Toolbox for Aviation and STEM Activities

Looking for new ways to get your students excited about science, technology, engineering, and math? Enhance your existing K-12 curriculum with FREE, fun, and standards-compliant grab-and-go aviation-themed activities designed to cultivate students’ passion for careers in flight and STEM.

Developed by EAA to encourage curiosity and invite youth to explore pathways to careers in aviation, you can create a new spark for your students by using the fascination of flight as a framework and a source of inspiration.

At present the school is courting higher education facilities trying to get dual credit opportunities for those going to college in the aviation field. Within the next 3 years the school should have its own hangar with classroom facilities and an area for public coffee consumption stocked and served by the culinary students.

Walk on over here Espen and I’ll pour you a cup. :pilot:

Mark,

That is awesome, and I am fascinated! My son is 14, and we live in Brazil but he wants to get his private at 16 (here in Brazil you have to be 18)... I am originally from Texas and still own a production facility outside of Houston. I would love to visit sometime and bring my kid in!

Today marks our 30th day working Two 45 minute periods each Tuesday and Wednesday.
All our tail feathers are complete including the lower tailcone. We have “doormen” gainfully employed and are getting close to finishing their parts. Today we started flaps and ailerons.

Is there a possibility of them taking the "A" portion of their A&P . It looks like enough work to get signed off for a written.
(I only got to build a Kayak in shop.. but it was dope and fabric work!)
