Quote: I'm rather liking Bonanza at this point, especially finding ATC treats us Bonanza pilots better than others. Yep, same here. I've always been able to comply with ATC requests to keep up the speed on approaches or climb for traffic. As long as we all do that most of the time ATC will treat us as pilots with professional abilities and fit us into the traffic flow accordingly.

Hello, Beechtalk members,
Very nice website, good content and some pretty funny contributors.
I am a new Bonanza owner, in fact this is my first plane, period. So I am enjoying scraping
up some tidbits of knowledge about aircraft ownership/maint. etc. I see that most of your
members have posted pictures of their planes so I will comply with that standard ASAP.

Hello all, just joined yesterday and have posted in a couple threads already. I'm a second generation corporate pilot and second generation Beech owner. I've owned my 1963 B95A for over 15 years, and I still have my fathers 1948 A35. I even fly the jet he retired in at Winnebago Industries. He passed away last year after a long and spotless career, logging over 20,000 hours. I look forward to getting to know everyone on this forum. If you're ever in the area, stop in at KFXY in northern Iowa and say hello. Attachment: 101_0128a.JPG

As a fellow S model owner, tell us about your bird. We'd love to see some photos too! When you can add your home base along with City and State to your profile so we can relate better to your situation. Welcome Aboard!

I am in North Carolina. It's not my plane, but I have flying privileges. More or less stock S-35 with some newer radios and a Brittain autopilot. The Brittain is OEM, the rest of the radio stack is newer.

Hi All
In keeping with the recent S model theme, I too am a new Bonanza owner with my 65 S-35. My personal economic stimulus plan was to take advantage of a buyers market and finally get the Bonanza I always wanted. Let it be said that I did my part to turn this economy around by sending my plane to the shop for a new interior, an avionics upgrade, GAMI injectors, dual Cygnet yoke upgrade and BAS shoulder harness installation. Can't wait to see the finished product, hopefully by the end of the month! My new Bonanza is parked SW of Atlanta, GA at the Newnan airport.
If I can figure out how to upload a photo, you will see the exterior of my new plane with this post. I'll post pictures of the new interior/avionics when the work is complete.

Welcome Jeff! Beautiful S... I may be partial. Glad to have you with us. I look forward to seeing the rest of the photos. When you get a chance update your Profile to include your Airport City and State. <---- it will show up over there. It helps us to know where you are and understand your situations. Glad to have you here.... I know you'll love the S and this place.
