@Doug, I am flying her on Saturday, but besides that she is based right at the base of the tower. If you want a walk around, please let me know.

Thanks!

Andrew

Nice looking plane. Are the radar and de-ice working? Any damage history? Which autopilot, working? PM sent.

anybody wanting a twin for 80K should just write the check. At that price, asking a bunch of questions is simply costing you the sale.

If I wasn't getting married next month, you'd have the cash in hand already. Timing is everything, and it is not on my side with this time.

That is a lot of plane for the buck.

You still have time to run away!!!! If she’s an airplane lover she will understand!!!

She's a keeper. She actually requested that we get a twin. Who can argue with that?
Her only request is that I wait to buy until after the wedding. That's a fair trade off in my book.

Would you be interested in an M35 (1960 V-tail) with 4,600 hrs and approximately 300 hrs on the engine? The only reason I would consider trading my girl is that my boys are getting bigger/growing up

Great looking Baron.

I'd seriously consider the Cub. 1947 was the final year they made the J-3. You can't go wrong with a Cub. I sold mine two years ago. Even though I've got a Stearman in the hangar now, I still belong to a local club and fly their J-3C-75 every chance I get.

Tell you what, Andrew: if you make the trade with Doug and don't like the J-3, I'll buy it at fair market value.

Zero risk!

In this market there is a lot of truth right there IF you have the knowledge to read between the lines and have access to the logs. However, most buyers in that low price range don’t have the knowledge and/or resources to know if their $80 AMU purchase will become a $150+ AMU purchase in the first years of ownership.

Thanks everyone, and @Sven, I couldn't agree more. I have first buyers coming this weekend to inspect, as I wasn't available last weekend.

If anyone know of someone who wants a Baron and needs to swap out a T-28B/C, please let me know! Thats is what I am planning on upgrading to. Either that or a solid Vtail.

Thanks again everyone!

BTW;

In 2001 I flew Bernie Kosar in on a Challenger 600 to KBKL for the induction to the Hall of Fame of the Cleveland Browns. The ceremony was at half time and Bernie had arranged mid field tickets for the crew. That Lakefront stadium is harsh for us Floridians.
Great airport location though, so close to the stadium. I remember being cold the whole time with that Northerly lake wind. We checked out and went back to the FBO the last quarter.

Is your Baron still for sale? If so I'm interested. My much loved C-55 suffered a gear collapse on Tuesday, insurance company is totaling her.
