Here's a short video of our flight home from Florida. My wife and I have six daughters from age 8 to 16 (twins in the middle).

Just so I don't get fried on the internet: I had the extra seat in the very back, so there was a seatbelt for every butt. However, the baby (eight year-old) likes to move around once we level off. And by the way, my wife is not using the potty, she's just sitting on it.

As for the luggage, I'm allowed one carry-on.

And yes, we were within weight-and-balance limits.

Thanks for sharing! I do love the nose baggage on those Twin Cessnas. I keep going back and forth between a 425, 441, and 501SP.

Doing my multi in early June.....

That's like my 421 going to Baja.

PS. You seem like a lucky man. That is a great looking family. I hope you are saving for all those weddings you will be paying for someday!

Love the 400 series Cessna's luggage space! In the 421/414 you also have the wing lockers which give you even more space. More than once in our travels the issue wasn't the plane, but cramming all of our crap into the rental car at the other end!

I can imagine posting a video otherwise would not have passed spousal review.

Love that space in the nose, and also that red paint! Did you do the paint scheme or buy it that way. It’s a beauty!

I had it painted at Murmur in Houston in December of '19.

All of that luggage space (and useful load) is on of the things that makes the high cost of ownership/ operation of our 421 worth it.

Great video! I didn't think the bags were going to stop coming!

It's hard not to love the Cessna 400 series nose baggage compartment. You appear to put it to good use!

I agree with Chip - I thought the bags would never stop coming out of there.

Reminds me of a clown car at the circus. That's meant in a positive way!

I'm just starting to shop for a 400 series twin cessna so I look forward to that nose baggage.

John,
Looks eerily similar to my baggage. Our ladies bags are the same fancy designer canvas patterns and mine is a freebie duffel bag from a golf tournament, plus my fishing poles and tackle box.
Amazing how much you can fit in there. You get really good at "Nose baggage Tetris"!

There's nothing like a Twin Cessna from a baggage carrying capacity standpoint. Everyone who hasn't flown one would be FLOORED as to how much baggage capacity there is in the nose and wing lockers. The video does a great job indicated just how much capacity those machines have. If you need to carry a big family or group, there's nothing like a Twin Cessna t-prop / piston.

Thanks so much for taking the time to share this video. What a beautiful machine and family you have.

All I need to see now is the full size van used to haul all that back to the house!!!

Amazing how much you can haul! Thanks for the video.
