You guys have no idea what my plans are and what we're working on so you're making suggestions based on no information or your preconceived ideas of what's going to happen. I'm not changing the turbo setup now because it's not part of what we're planning. So enough already. I'm going to start blocking people who keep harping on about this. Just sit back and watch and keep your opinions to yourselves.
It was in the comment section of his last vid that covered the "delrin" bearing fix. I read it, he refuses to "hear" anything. Basically, "nothing I am doing now matters, since will address it in production, so quit bothering me."

That guy really knows how to sell airplanes. Is it too late for me to put in a deposit ?

Hey check this out, though the magic of photoshop, you are now a Pilatus PIC and owner! Congratulations !

If you'd be so kind as to post a photo of a "golf course management" diploma, we can turn that into an engineering degree just as easily.

It gives some resolution to the macro understanding of who thinks what and why.

And who says what and why…

and most importantly what that really means.

In the immortal words of Admiral Ackbar, "It's a trap!!!"

In the immortal words of Thufir Hawat, "The first step in avoiding a trap is knowing of its existence."

I've got to thank you for the laugh over my coffee this morning, Chris. Which should intrigue you because humor isn't what you're after. You've heard the old saw:

"Know your audience."

I sincerely hope you're not doing much flying with SA as poor as yours. I'd like to share a little story with a moral for you. In the USAF, a newly qualified fighter pilot leaves the RTU for his or her first unit. They are highly trained, having not only graduated from UPT, but having gutted out an extremely challenging qualification course for their airplane, one known to wash out people that graduated first in their pilot training class. They are rightfully proud. In the new squadron, they are asked to stand up and tell everybody a little bit about themselves. As they humbly begin to outline the first sentence of their little bio, their peers all shout loudly:

"STFU!"

Please don't take that personally, but it's really good advice for us all. You're absolutely nothing (And I do mean nothing) special in this group of highly talented overachievers. Be the smart guy you claim to be and sit back and learn from them.

Glad you got a chuckle out it Daniel. Honestly.

Have you gone back and looked at how many of these highly talented overachievers publicly declared this bird would never fly? And I ask that sincerely. With all due respect earned by the community as a whole.

I would go so far as to say the fella in this video was an uber highly talented overachiever. Here he is shown to be making claims in his demonstrated area of expertise that, if just based on his credentials, one would be very hard pressed indeed to want to argue against.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Pp5DfNh ... el=c1cl0ps

So Neil was more talented and higher achieving than anyone in humanity. Literally.

And yet he was proven dead wrong.

In regards to being special... I supposed that depends on how one defines special.

I am already in the smaller group of folks that said this bird would fly.

And have further stated I believe the Raptor will demonstrate ground breaking performance. And have laid out exactly WHY I believe that to be the case.

And broken down that, "why" to the foundational first level principles in as much as I am capable.

I have also defined (many times) what are the obstacles to that destination and how I think they will be overcome.

So I suppose it is a matter of let's wait and see.

As then.... I am stating it is all about the polar. Get the heating and thus (horsepower right) and the weight where it needs to be and then we shall see.

If/when that days comes to pass, I expect the trail of bread crumbs I have laid out in defending my position will all make complete sense.

It will be enlightening to come back and revisit this at some point in the future.

Cheers.

Chris, why don’t you point out all the posts where experts said it wouldn’t fly. Or are you making that up to suit your story?

There are a lot of posts where smart and knowledge people said it wouldn’t meet the performance claims and where people said it wouldn’t be safe or reliable. Those people have been proven correct.

Also, still waiting for you to address your fake profile picture and other false claims. Are you really who you say you are?

Is ground breaking like in a smoking hole?

He has never posted any data to back up his claims. Just vague references to polars that don't exist and endless condescension.

Well he should have a good grasp on it with the benefit of the engineering degree he told us he had. Oh wait...

Well at least he knows a lot about high performance planes since he says he owns a Pilatus. Oh, about that...
