This is a popular car guy on Youtube. I clicked the thumbnail because I thought maybe he is a pilot too. Instead he's interviewing the owner of a Cirrus.

The owner seems to have a weak grasp of a few things. Says the static wicks are to "show airflow" and the engine is "turbo cooled." Knows oxygen regs though and describes the plane in a way non-pilots could understand.

Inside, the host immediately compares it to a Tesla. I think that's a good thing. These types of crossover videos can probably reach a new audience of potential pilots.

Youtube is a treasure trove of how-to info. I don't know how I got stuff done before it.

But yes, you have to wade through some noise to get to the signal.

Doctor pilots.

I'm a bit of a youtube addict. Familiar with the Car Wizard from Hoovie's channel.

Thankful for Wizard and Hoovie otherwise I might go down the path of an Early Bentley Turbo R. Now I don't have to live that nightmare and can get a better plane.

Just to be clear, there are tear drop outlets on the prop hub...and you refill the system with accountant's tears. Just show your accountant your aviation receipts to get a refill.

Car Wizard didn't go into detail but there is an episode where he was goes over rivet extraction and mentioned he used to work on the assembly line of the Cessna 750, I assume he was a structures assembly tech.

Will be interesting to see if he expands more into aviation or the marine worlds from automotive.

I'm a fan of his channel.

For some reason notifications of subbed channel postings never works, so thanks for posting this.

...the pilot saying it was turbo cooled and his gear head BIL getting it right with turbocharged was awesome!
