Is there a way for users to determine their posts count per year? Or track posts per month?

My guess is that my posts are way down. It is tiresome to post useful information - only to have it degenerate into various squabbles and opinions. Here is an example in which a user makes an incorrect assumption and goes off on a rant.

Sad.

It is the nature of the beast. I still find the information gained from reading and posting on BT
far, far outweigh the occasional nuisance.

The squabbles have been annoying and they peaked when the COVID threads were running rampant.

I think now that we are back to mostly aviation and life wisdom related posts they’re back to the type of squabbles that we really enjoy... ROP vs LOP... why Cirri have parachutes, waving and man hugs, which by the way have been deemed highly illegal during this pandemic.

Not sure if ROP flying or man hugs will ever make a comeback. But still a lot to learn from BT.

As a supporter and financier of Beechtalk, I have committed myself (and yes as a QB'er) to declare statements that: I have heard, or I have read, or someone showed me in my flying. This preserves the freedom of all aspects in flying that all aviators so cherish.

Thanks. As in society you will find all kinds of people. Just didn’t expect this on a site dedicated to Beech. Appreciate what you do for us

We're getting so many For Sale listings, is there any way to search by some crideria to narrow things down? At least manufacturer and model?

BeechTalk is a wonderful resource. I wish that I had more time to spend here. I have learned a lot and received very valuable information from "very generous with their time" individuals. I know this site also takes a lot of time and effort to maintain and I would feel the loss if you guys decided to give it up.

My feeling is that anyone who can't find it in themselves to be civil not only doesn't deserve to be here but also turns off those who are good natured and civil. Cutting them off would serve the decent participants well and preserve the positive atmosphere so there should be no hesitation in doing so.

Thank you for creating BeechTalk and keeping it going. I am grateful...

Dave Ovad

Hi my name is Leighton and I have owned a 1963 baby Baron for about 4 years. Insurance has been reasonable and now at the renewal it has more than doubled this year on a 1963 TC-413 Anyone else have any ideas?

Suggestion: post this in a different thread: twins or plane talk.

There are also a couple of running threads on insurance problems. If you use "insurance" as a key word in the search function they should pop up.

I think you guys have done an amazing task of putting this together. I rarely post but I read it often. I direct my friends to this sight. I agree that the politics of preference do get over zealous at times and I wish people would temper their remarks better. It should be live and let live and not tell people what they should do. Everyone has an opinion on various topics but what is right for them does not dictate what is right for you. I agree that the covid, religion, politics conversations are better left elsewhere. But again, love this site and thanks for taking on the task and aggravation of keeping it going. I don't actively fly anymore but live vicariously through the people here. I also still enjoy flying with my friends who are still active. Happy Holidays!

I would personally like to thank the Jeff’s for putting Beechtalk forum together it’s a great place for sharing and teaching lessons learned, without judgement. (Old school hangar flying). Aviation will improve and excel in a forward direction thanks to places like this.
Let us all help keep it that way.
Ray
