I have new Whelen Aerospace Technologies (WAT) 71080 series LED beacon lights available for sale. These beacon lights are direct replacement for legacy Whelen and Grimes beacon lights on the fuselage, belly, and tails of your 35 or 36 Bonanza aircraft. They draw less power (0.45 amps @28 VDC), weigh less (1.8lbs), are much more reliable, and put out 150 estimated candle power (ECP), which is the brightest LED beacon light WAT offers for these aircraft. I have helped several Beechtalk bros outfit their Beech with these fantastic LED beacon lights and it is my personal beacon of choice because that is what my Bonanza, N11GG, is equipped with. You can purchase them off my website at http://www.gallagheraviationllc.com/whe ... hting.htmlFor 28V aircraft you will need model 7108005 (Includes a 3.75" adapter) and for 14V aircraft you will need model 7108055 (Includes a 3.75" adapter). These are quoted to BT members for $699.99. That includes free shipping and no sales tax outside of Ohio. Email or PM me with any questions at gallagheraviationllc@gmail.com

Brighter than the Orion 360? It’s gotta be on the verge of melting aluminum!

Sir, will this beacon fit onto a 1967 Cherokee 180 ? Is there much modification that needs to be done to make it fit ? Is there any current or upcoming discounts for this item ?

Is there any current or upcoming discounts for this item ? Hi Mark, Yes it will fit on a Cherokee 180. If you send me a photo of your tail, I can tell you what size base you will need. Cherokees are hit or miss on the size of the beacon that are needed on the tail. A lot of the Archers and Warriors (if they have beacons) have been using 2.6 inch lights. There are no known promotions coming up that I know of. Email me at gallagheraviationllc@gmail.com
