The glare shield looks to be from a 58P. Are the vents functional?

Also, if you don’t mind me asking, what does the GFC-600 cost to install in a B55?

No the vents on the Glareshield are not functional, connection to the ducting below is all thats required.

As far as the GFC600 install, This aircraft was the first Baron to have the GFC6600 installed after the STC was approved. I worked very closely with the Avionics shop and Garmin Engineering during the install since it was the first Beechcraft to receive the new unit. That being said several brackets and other mounts were required to be fabricated during the process. It was not an "out of the box A/P" like what the S-Tech has evolved to as the shop described. It took longer than anticipated and drew upon a lot of patients but after it was all said and done The price was just north of $35K.

The Cabin Door Hinges were replaced in 2018. They came out great! You are now able to close the cabin door with 2 fingers. I could only imagine it was just like the day it was new.

I typically operate between 8 & 10K feet, with the JPI I operate ROP. I’m at approximately 65% power burning between 22-24 gph @ 180kts. All CHT’s below 325 degrees. I love the JPI engine monitor ...........almost as much as the GFC 600 A/P. Haha
