Rick Yep that was me and that used to be my airplane. Sold it to go faster in a quieter airplane with a cabin 3 times as large for the same fuel flow (LOL). Here is a pic of my old bird, she was a sweet ride: Mark-
How you would compare the 2 (Mustang vs Avanti) as far as difficulty to "pilot". I would think the Mustang would be one of the easiest planes to fly from a pilot's perspective. How does it compare to the Avanti?

Chatted with Neal a few days ago as he just sold my Mooney. Every time I take something else out for a go around and then fly my PC12, I realize how damn good that airplane is for my mission. What I want now is to go and fly and use my airplane for what its designed to do, take me places. I'm not that interested in figuring out new planes, parts, problems etc, as they take a fair bit of time. I think that Mark, Anthony, and soon to be Tony are definitely going to love that airplane. I'm happy where I am right now. Just need to get another piston airplane, which I'm looking for right now.

The PC12 is an incredible airplane and with your large family I don't think you can beat it short of a mid sized or larger jet.
The Avanti comes close to the PC12 in cabin and carrying capacity but doesn't have the gear hauling room that I think you really take advantage of. The reason it wasn't on my list is simply speed. Speed is a function of TAS, range and max altitude (to go over instead of around weather). For me, where 75% of missions is 1-2 people the Avanti cabin is overkill but that other stuff matters a lot to me.
You're lucky if your needs and desires stay static is this avocation because change is expensive!
The II I have under contract is in prebuy and so far so good. Here are a couple of pics:

On these planes part cost is a coin flip. Wrong thing breaks and it’s an expensive day. Most mechanics say they don’t break that often. I hope they are right.
