What is the PC12 galley like? does it even have one? asking for a friend of mine; interested in 1) microwave, or 2) coffee maker. conversion? STC?

I'll start a new thread, but am also interested in maintenance cost comparison between B200 and PC12. when i searched i got 30+ pages- not helpful... can someone point me to a thread? ie, a G1000 B200 vs a similar PC12...

does the B20 have a galley?

No galley in the PC12 but there are a couple cabinets with slide out drawers just aft of the lav. The drawers can store some snacks and have cup holders that fit a replaceable thermos style coffee container. The thermos container is a much better way to do coffee, IMHO. The aluminum coffee pot in the KA is stupid expensive to replace and I wouldn't drink nasty coffee out of there as they are hard to clean. No microwave in either plane, at least not by default.

I'm guessing that it looks sorta like this.

Gary,
Here are some pics of typical KA200 galleys. The two spigots are an HLC (Heated Liquid Container) into which brewed tea or coffee is put the ramp, the other is simply a water reservoir.
The remainder has cup storage and various drawers for hospitality items. There were several design variations over the years but generally all fall into this description. We are a CRS and can fully service and repair both the cabinetry and the electrical aspects.

Dumb question, but is there enough 110v juice in the plane to power a little Nespresso machine? They're just shy of a microwave at 1270 watts...

It'd be comical to get a super automatic espresso machine in there. Probably too big though

that's not a dumb question! that was the reason for my original question... Nespresso inissia or Pixie would fit- just needs 1300 watts.

Max power for the PC-12 110v plugs is 500 watts.

I only provide bottled water for my pax (without ice). ;)

A Nespresso machine is the way to go. In our managed fleet, one owner had this one installed on a Challenger 300. It seems that the coffee from a stainless steel heated container which is seldom properly washed tastes just as bad on a Challenger as on a King Air!

The day I have my own King Air, I will definitely investigate the possibility of doing the same. Wattage will be the issue.

If you want better coffee from the heated liquid container:
1) Clean it every once in a while
2) Buy ground coffee you like, and give it to the FBO to make for your container

You are 100% right, a nespresso machine in the Challenger is heaven. Sipping an espresso or making an americano in your plane is wonderful.

I took the worthless coffee heater out of my C90 many years ago and installed a large storage drawer for the POH .The pot is in my attic if anyone wants it. My solution for in-flight service would be to buy all the passengers their coffee of choice prior to departure and then let them deal with the aft "relief tube" while in turbulence.
