Vaseline, or if not available, big tub of butter Barring any medical limitations, you do get used to it, with a technique that works for you. The M600 does have quite a bit bigger cockpit than the legacy Malibu. Even at 6'1 and 200 lbs, I don't have to have the seat all the way back. The new seats with thinner higher density foam, wider cockpit, and the backs that extend over the wing spar instead of in front of the spar make a big difference. Plus you can fold all the seats down, which makes for a very large opening, if you want or need it.

I grab and place one leg over, then the other, in a friends Matrix. (Same fuselage).
No different than for an Eclipse, Mustang or Phenom.
Maybe I’m getting older and don’t have the same flexibility or leg control I had when I was younger.

I have trouble in all of them because the bulkhead, potty seat, or club seats are behind the pilot seats. The Eclipse is easier if there are only 4 seats in the airplane and you move the pilots seats far back on the tracks

I'm 6-2 200# and cannot get into the front seats of M600. Backward, forward, doesn't matter. It's a very uncomfortable proposition, and after you close the door, you do get very intimate with your pax...Horrible design IMHO. Bummer because I like the performance..

Not that anyone asked, but I’m 6’3” 210#s and have no problem getting into the pilot’s seat of my Meridian. Where there is a will, there is a way. The TBM feels about the same. The Epic is downright spacious. The cockpit/access on the SF50 is superb.

The wing spar and smaller cabin is my issue. I agree with the "will/way" comment. I lack the will to keep trying. Vision Jet ingress/egress nailed it for me.

Robert I am with you climbing over the spar in the Piper made me feel claustrophobic.
Before the Eclipse I thought the PC12 was to big the Meridian too small and the TBM was perfect
There’s a trick to getting into an Eclipse and it’s very comfortable with the side stick you have lots of room

I think some of the discrepancy with the Meridian access may be dependent upon the avionics. I've never attempted to sit in the pilot's seat of a G1000 Meridian, but I could see the keypad making it more difficult. My Avidyne Meridian has no such keypad and is a little easier to access than the M600 I've sat in due to it's touchscreen keypads.
