Hi Everyone, I'm an engineer by trade, a private pilot although years since I got to fly PIC, a retired Air Force navigator, 26 years, AFRES, flew in the Hurricane Hunters for 15 years until 2005, retired in 2013. Civ job is AETC Chief Engineer for requirements on the T-7A Red Hawk program replacing the T-38. Most of my private time was in aero club C-152s, PA28 Warrior, and a 1960 Tri-pacer. Want to and will be getting back in the seat, soon I hope!
Been dreaming about flying and owning a Bonanza for years. I just love the platform and the engineering beauty that it is still today. I would love to talk with the engineers who originally designed the Bonanza/Baron series and how they dealt with the limits they had, and if they had any idea how they would touch so many lives for so many years.
Hope to meet some of you all really soon! I love watching videos of pilots with their Bonanzas, pictures, and reading your stories of your experiences with them.
