Now that's what I call an upgrade! Little less efficient than the diamond though.

I guess it depends on what you consider "commercial." I'm referring to the airlines. This conversation has come up before on another thread and someone mentioned that they thought they'd seen SETP's included in regularly ticketed 121 ops. I'm not going to say it doesn't happen as I don't know that for a fact, but I don't know how this happens considering: 14 CFR § 121.159 - Single-engine airplanes prohibited. The airlines are all about efficiency and safety. The FAA supports this as well. Singles would be outstanding planes from a cost per mile basis...why then the prohibition on singles? Turbines fail. We've lost one on a King Air. I know my brother lost one when flying an L1011 over the Mediterranean. It happens. If you are high, and can glide to an airport or road, great. If not, at night, over water, over rough ground, in poor weather (or any combination of those)...good luck.

Pretty impressive aircraft. Today I got approximately 170 KTAS on 15.0 GPH (7.5 per engine) of Jet-A at 80% power. You can cruise at up to 95% power for speed, or as low as you want for economy. No mixtures or prop controls. Everything is automatic based on how much power you request. Also, there is no such thing as a “hot start” or a “cold start”. They always start instantaneously. Here’s a pic, so you know it happened: Attachment: 42693680-463B-426A-9D57-D463CD7ED4FD.jpeg Looks fit for Captain Kirk. What’s the UL with full fuel?
