Hi Kevin, great — a fellow Malibu/520 driver... I downloaded from a JPI 700, doesn’t have FF, RPM, or MP... future upgrade... Ok... just got back from flight testing today.... I’m not getting full fuel flow at max/TO power—- only 38 gph at 39MP/2600 rpm, full rich In cruise climb only showing 32.5 gph @2500/35 MP, full rich...should be 35, No? One of the Malibu gurus yesterday told me to set 75%/LOP and see how the temps are in climb with that....Well... climbs real cool there—- 2400/31/17 gph lop, all CHTs under 360...just that the airspeed in climb peters put to 100 kts by 15000... I could swear the FF was ok last week.... is it possible the settings can slip easily?

My FF was closer to 40 and Mead told me to keep it around 38. I was getting a high power miss occasionally and Mead said the the high FF could be causing it. Your EGTs in the climb are all higher than I would expect. Mine are between 1250-1300 in a climb at your power FF settings. It seems like your FF is too low based on CHT and EGT, but the FF number you are using is correct... Also, 32gph is the right number for 35/25 climb. Do you trust the fuel flow numbers? Take a look at my last flight from the link. This was a takeoff power climb 38/26 to FL220. https://apps.savvyaviation.com/flights/3724858/adec44fc-85f1-4a3c-8eb7-0df555d49c8b
