Where can I find what light bulbs go in the Saratoga? The overhead lights, courtesy lights, etc. Does anyone have a pdf maintenance manual? I want to replace all these lights with LED. What light goes in the nose baggage?

Also, what lights go under the plastic panel overlay on 1981 Saratoga SP? Is there an LED replacement for them?

The MX manuals can be googled. Under the panel is a black sheet metal overlay. The bulbs are BA9s. Superbright LEDs has replacement lamps if you want to go that routh, they are slightly taller than the standard bulbs and really light the panel up. If I recall correctly, they are not dimmable though. Could be wrong on that though.

Did you download the POH and was it what you were looking for?

Yes Jeff, the manual was perfect! Thank you! I did a google search and came up empty. In my bonanza POH there is a page that list every light bulb and it’s number. Does Piper not have something like that?

I replaced all mine in my Malibu with AeroLED replacements. They are much brighter than the incandescent. Do not use them on the dimmable overhead lights, they will blow out.

A lot. I will guess 12 or more. My rig is down in JAX right now or I'd go take a look for you.

Jeff, the force is strong with you, thank you! I went through the manual and didn't come across a bulb number at all! I see why beech has the upper hand now.

That’s cuz you need the Piper parts manual to go with the service manual. I charge heavily for that one.
