Bernoulli. :-) It is a bit of trick question. You can not actually calculate it unless you know at least one volumetric flow rate and the distance between the two points. And the answer is also dependent on friction and has to do with the internal pipe roughness. (turbulence generating ability of the inner wall :bugeye: )

But it is great for illustrative purposes. I suspect you are very nearly correct and definitely in the ball park.

Point being most folks think the pressure goes up and by a lot. Can't wrap their head around the pressure going down. Which seque's nicely into how lift is generated across an airfoil and our discussion in general.

Most folks are really really really bad at guessing these kinds of things.

Some fewer of this group are really really really brave at making predictions/casting aspersions which have zero basis in reality, but seem to make sense.

Till they don't.

Are you really thinking a 3600 lb 5 seat airplane is going to have less form drag than a 2 seat tandem that was modified for the purpose of efficiency?

Color me skeptical.

You make a good point man. What does pulling the gear buy you given my talking points? +3

Look at the pictures of the two....

Makes you wonder what the radar profile of this thing is.

Yes. The Raptor has a large cross section (more drag), looks like a larger wet area too.

Raptor has larger/fatter fuselage/wing intersection (usually increases drag, there are exceptions that I do not understand).

Raptor has larger winglets (more drag).

Long EZ has fixed main gear (more drag).

Raptor has a better/cooler looking photos.

From my super limited knowledge; the cross section will almost always be the dominate factor.

I will take a Raptor with the Walter option.
Or a 450hp allison. Match range to bladder. 4hrs and falling.
