Aircraft: Piper PA-32R 300
Had my heart set on a Bo ever since I started back flying a year ago but I just couldn't pass up this deal. The plane has been pampered for the last 22 years by an owner with a big,fat, open wallet. Just the cowling update is $44k now. Every LoPresti mod available, beautiful paint, beautiful leather interior and a capable panel. Engine only has 300 hours SMOH and the plane has 4,200 TT.

Just waiting on an annual and then 25 hours of transition time.

Mama REALLY likes it, but then again she has been flying with me in the C-150 so almost anything would be an upgrade. After 100 hours in the Cessna it feels like I could play half-court basketball in this one.

Would really love the pull-down blinds, ala Saratoga but the price is $900+ each :eek:

We have a seamstress friend who is going to make some new curtains for us. Wife wants something more "Modern" whatever the hell that means..............

They are good airplanes Ron, and I am glad it's not the T tail as they really do fly different.

When you and I first started chatting I was flying a T tailed Lance for an owner who had (past tense) property on Freeport. Well, I guess he still has the property.

The transition should go easily for you as in some ways the Lance is more forgiving than the 150.
