https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=S16JEBQNdpkAfter 2.5 years of work including stripping the paint, minor corrosion repair, removing all the old antennas, new floor boards, new glass, new glass panel, new fabric, new interior, new cowlings, I test flew her today and she is ready to go to the paint shop. I had no idea this would turn into a multi thousand hour project but it's going to be really special when done. I've never been so nervous in my life on this test flight but everything went great.

Picture of avionics? Continental IO-470s with GAMIs and Hartzells (B55 Baron engines). Avionics pics will follow but they are all Garmin glass.

Beautiful! Congrats.
I owned one for four years. I always say I flew it for 200 hours, and worked on it for 2000.

Dave Rutter My friend John Foster is painting it in Lakeland. I had a long discussion about the plan and I feel good I'll get a great result. He has painted 2 Barons and a Bonanza (twice) so I know he'll do a great job. I installed 1 leather pilot's seat but will install the rest after it is painted. How's your Widgeon Dave?

The weather has been so crappy this spring I've hardly flown it - hoping to get up a few times this long holiday weekend...
Bought a place down there in Spruce Creek, so will get down there more often this winter.
