Been lurking for a while but decided recently to start getting involved. So much fantastic content here. Will be attending Oshkosh for the first time this year as well. 1964 B33 Deb based at W17, a tiny strip that never left the 70s. It's just east of Raleigh. Great community. My co-owner and I are both in our 20s, so we enjoy being the youngest on the field (for now!) and the associated heckling that comes with that. We started with a 150, burned through private, putzed around for a bit, saw a Deb, fell in love, sold the 150, bought the Deb. Wrapped up instrument earlier this year and am planning to fly into Canada after Oshkosh. If anyone is around the Raleigh area feel free to reach out! Attachment: 66M.jpg

Username Protected wrote: Welcome, nice Deb. Is that runway hard surface or grass? Thank you! It's paved surface with some grass dabbled about. Only 30' wide, so both wing tips are over the grass. Makes centerline landings at larger airports a breeze. Also a decent slope as well.
