I can’t believe I am listing this...but it’s time for someone else to enjoy the beast.

This is a black on black manual transmission M5 with a naturally aspirated V10. 0-60 in 4.5 seconds. This was my dream car. I have owned it for close to 10 years and it’s been a great ride. Super reliable and I have babied it. It’s never been tracked, though I was tempted. Did go to BMW track day which was a blast but drive their cars.
103,000miles
I have my eye on a air cooled 911 and if I don’t do it now, not sure when it will happen. But I can’t get any more cars without letting some go.
I have a stack of receipts from all the dealer maintenance. Bought it certified pre owned. The tires are half life Michelin’s.
Nav, heads up display, heated and cooled seats - has it all. Auto headlights, rain sensor wipers...No squawks.
Interior is in great shape.
Regularly waxed
Hood was resprayed (no damage other than stone chips) as was left front fender (Costco parking lot scratch)

Looking to get $18k. Honestly believe it will continue to appreciate. They don’t make the V10s any more. Original sticker was $110k
I can and will additional photos if there is interest.

Features list:
Sun roof
Automatic, swiveling headlights
Automatic high beams
Heads up display
Navigation
Automated Front seat bolsters
Comfort edition - soft close doors
Auto dimming side and main mirrors
Front heated and cooled seats
Rear seat heaters
Memory program angle buttons for nav, phone and radio
2 keys
Red lights internal illumination
Illuminated gear shift
Rear and front parking sensors
Rain sensing wipers
6 disc In dash CD changer
Bluetooth
M features:
Adjustable steering
Adjustable suspension
Adjustable accelerator response and differential

Replaced in last 10k miles:
Brake pads
Tires
ABS controller
Oil cooler
Battery
Front suspension bushings

Not a lot - I have 4-6” on each side. Have to keep the wheels between the lines and I am good.

Very nice! The manual is a rare find. If I ever scratch my M5 itch this would be exactly what I’d be looking for.

I have a 2003 factory Dinan S1 M5 in immaculate shape all around. 140,000 miles which is the only thing that keeps it out of collector category. It is my daily driver.

My maintenance guy offered me $25,000 for it the other day...well over what I bought it for. I respectfully declined.

Kabir's looks like a great deal. He is right, you. will. love. this. car. Truly a wolf in sheep's clothing.

Good luck with the sale--I don't think you'll need it though.

Thanks for the compliments guys. The manual transmission was a rare find indeed. The automatic was pretty dim-witted on the E60 and nothing like rowing through the gears.

Tripp - maybe I should hang on to it, based on your comments! For a while, I was trying to find it’s engine replacement when it will eventually need it. But as your car shows, these are remarkable engines.

I am always surprised by the need of Ferrari’s and the like that need extensive interventions periodically. The Merc V12 and the BMW V10 show how it should be.

Kabir--I'll admit I'm partial to the older E28 and E39 M5's, but yours definitely has more creature comforts and is also a V10 (as opposed to my V8). The E39s have been steadily rising in value for at least 5 years now.

The one thing you have going for yours is the manual transmission. For my year model, you had once choice (manual) which I absolutely love. Your manual transmission in the E60 increases the value, but you may have to wait a bit longer to find that buyer specifically looking for the manual.

Someone either needs to snatch this up soon, or you need to keep it :D

Great car!

I own the exact same car bought new in 2008, including manual tranny (Kabir's right, there were very few). It has been amazingly reliable with only one minor maintenance event, but I can't even remember what it was.

Being naturally aspirated the exhaust note is perfect - mine has the Dinan exhaust and it's even better.

My wife has been through six cars in the same time but mine is still perfect and I have no plan to replace it any time soon.
