Howdy,
I'm getting ready to go do a prebuy on a restored 35 V tail later this week. Always wanted one and I think the right one may have popped up. The price point matches up with my expectations and I've got my fingers crossed. It's a little bit of a "mechanics special" (I'm an A&P) but looking forward to it.
I've read all the current AD's, talked with a few IA's... I think I know what I'm looking for... only thing missing is some actual "owner experience" I was hoping to read here.

I've seen a lot of bad ones but I think this one might is a diamond in the rough so I'm hesitant to say SN till I get it or pass. I've been using the forum search a lot already... looking for things to check when I'm with the plane I might miss otherwise.

Sorry to report D-392 is probably dead. I knew it would need work, but that one is a lost cause.
