Instead, you need to disguise your point as "replace PC12 with "rather small jet". Can't you just be honest? The aircraft market isn't rocket science. It's fun to track. You're not telling everyone here anything they don't already know. Good airplanes hold their value.... bad airplanes don't. Just like every other product in the world.

I figured you, off all people would appreciate this intriguing subject. It is, at least on the surface, very odd that someone would buy an airplane that is more expensive, smaller, has less range, fewer seats and isn't near as cool as the Pilatus. He sold a 20 year old PC12/45 for a new M2. I'd do that too. If he traded his 2018 PC12NG for a new M2 it would be a more interesting topic.
I don't have a PC12/45. I've never even been in one.

I don't have a PC12/45. I've never even been in one. You do miss the irony that a new PC-12NG and a new M2 are the same price don't you.

He didn't buy a Premier and save millions because he wants an airplane with a G3000
Nothing dishonest about my post, I wrote it that way to be intriguing. I like it when people read my post, curiosity is a motivator. It's fun to wonder "what did he trade it for?"
Speaking of dishonest... you DO NOT deal with the aircraft market every day. Looking at Controller and pontificating on Beechtalk doesn't count. You don't know what I do... just like I don't know your business. Selling your own airplane doesn't make you a professional. Sorry.

I am. You continue to muddy up the water. He purchased am M2 for the same amount of money that it would take to buy a Pilatus of the same year, but that isn't the point... lot's of people buy new M2's instead on new PC-12's and vice versa. You assume that this aircraft or that aircraft isn't viable because you have the misguided impression that they do not sell. Again, looking at Controller will confuse the heck out of you because many of the airplanes, in some cases most of them, are never advertised on Controller.

Ha.... remember when your excuse to me was "you're not a pro pilot". Now I am so you have to try a different angle. Chip you really shouldn't start a pissing contest with people that could be potential customers. It's bad business. I've never understood why you're so confrontational. There are other aviation industry guys on BT that can discuss the market without the insults.

Arnie is right. Enough. I think we all know who is confrontational on here. The only thing I am guilty off is letting you suck me in. BTW you are not a potential client, potential friend yes, I think you're actually a nice guy apart from Beechtalk, but you would never trust me to work on your behalf or know more than you and that's ok.

Example for 9000 lbs at ISA +10 FL410 MCT 382kts 650lbs - 57.7 nm/100lbs zero wind. LRC 336kts 529kbs - 62.9 nm/100lbs zero wind. Andrew.
