Maybe go bright white with them or remove entirely and go dark tint back there, would look awesome. Interior is ....a lot nasty. I’ll be running out of things to do other than interior pretty soon. PAX love function of curtains, but man they date the look. We’ll see.

I removed mine and went with dark tinted windows... no complaints after the change. I do carry suction cup attachable shades that can be used if needed but they only get used on the ground to keep temps down when tied down... I don’t have a before handy but here is an after shot: Attachment: C133F8FA-6A21-4ABA-A296-07D44183F667.jpeg This was a 95+ day at Marble Canyon with temps heading to the 110 range later in the morning and nobody complained they wanted the shades back! I plan to replace the front windows with light grey tinted at some future date....

Outstanding reporting, Jesse. I felt like I was reading a Richard Collins article in an old issue of Flying. Quote: It was 5:30 when the wheels were tucked away and we stared down a line ahead. It looked like we could climb to 14,500 or so and top it on our way home from West El Paso to Payson. Not so much. Quote: As the terrain rose underneath us, embedded in the pillow tops, the cloud layer forced us to continue the climb as the sun had gotten away from us and was busy saying goodnight to the Pacific coast line. I think you're a candidate for an aviation writing side job.

I’m cruising between 175-185ktas depending on altitude (per 3 way GPS) on 16.5-17.4gph LOP. I did a short field TO/Landing circuit at Clovis. Up and down in 900’ each with 750lb payload. Climb was 1,500fpm initial. 4,500’ density altitude.
Considering the cabin so considerably larger than my Baron, and it has nose baggage, this thing is truly impressing me. 4 hours from Fort Worth back home is no big deal when you can spread out a bit. I searched out a POH for a turbo toga and I'm surprised at those TAS on that FF. So now I'm curious at what altitudes were you seeing the 175-185. Thanks Jake

I’m sure the cowling helps, but it also has most of the speed mods.

I think you're a candidate for an aviation writing side job. Agreed! I was thinking the same thing as I was reading through this thread.
