Congratulations!
Looks nice, and it’s hard to beat the utility of a 182.

Congrats.

Are you now a two airplane family?

Trim is important. Carb heat is important.

Kinda looks that way. I may change my mind down the road but for now I just can't bring myself to sell the RV6. I really like that airplane.

Dave,

Don't sell that -6!

I frequently wish I still had mine.

By all means, check, but I think my 182 K was also 79 and 39/39.

I found that it only affects '73,'74, and '75 182 models in Cessna Service Letter SE 75-7

For the new to really odd AD folks here:
This Cessna fuel capacity AD has to be the single worst piece of regulatory bad writing I have ever seen - and I have practiced law for 35 years. It is simply impossible to get clearly what aircraft are covered.
:bat: for whoever at the FAA let that POS writing out the door.

Dave,

Very nice Skylane, congratulations.

I have two dogs who own the back seats and love to fly. On longer trips I take out the back seats and have a ton of room for our luggage and any dog related item I can think to bring. You will love it :).

My hangar is full. The 182, the RV6A, the Glassair, and my bass boat. I think I'm done.

Congratulations Dave! Your 182 will do every thing a Bonanza will do, except go the same speed on less fuel. :D

Those fuel selector numbers got my attention; check the AD's and see if those numbers should be 75 , and 37.5,37.5.

On trim; be careful on a full flap go-arounds with full nose up trim; it will head for the moon if you let it, then stall.

Have fun!

Was gonna say that about the Fuel Selector Placard. I changed the one here last Annual, the 1st I did on it.

Very nice, Dave.

The 182 is a great all-around airplane (if you don't need a bonanza....<grin>)

Your 182M is only 39 serial numbers older than mine.
