[quote="Robert Tanner"]Luc, I've never met you, but from reading your posts about your flying on here, I have no doubt you could learn to fly a jet. Ride in the right seat with me or anyone else for a few trips. Once you get the flows, procedures, SOPs, all you then have to do is condition yourself for flying at a faster speed. It's easily doable for someone who wants to do it and is current on instruments. You won't get turned loose single pilot immediately, but it will come sooner than you think. If you think you can fly a turboprop, you can fly a jet. It's much easier.

I have several dozen hours right seat in a Phenom 300 and an Eclipse. So, familiar with the speeds etc. I can do that. As Mark shared with me when he first transitioned the arrivals, departures and altitude restrictions were a challenge. Doing all of this, hand flying, single pilot, to ATP standards, plus memorizing all the systems, etc. Not so sure....

Maybe 10 BTers in attendance out of 75. Good to have friends. Sounds like a pretty awesome day!!

Flew KBJI to KDVT overnight. 1132NM. Departed at GW and crawled up to FL400, using a block from 380 for final climb. Pulled back to 101 N1. Landed with 1500lbs (burning 3500), saved a fuel stop in Denver and at least an hour. 4hrs enroute with 30kt+ avg headwind.

I would have told you where the "hot" spots were:) Robert
