My mechanic uses your oil wrench!
Also, I'm a member of Nikonians, having recently gotten back into photography. Just bought a D700, a 17-35 f/2.8, a 70-200 f/2.8 VR, the 1.4X teleconverter, an F5, and a few other goodies. That's to go with the D200 and 18-200VR as well as several legacy film bodies and lenses.
Over in "Babble Talk" we might get some photo conversation going. Thank you Tom for the welcome...I have a Nikon D300 and I'm quite happy with it. I also have the Epson R1800 printer and it's amazing to me what you can at home with photos now days! Also happy to see a wrench user out there! Regards, John

Hello All: I am a low time pilot at 68 hours and 2 hours of solo time away from my check ride. I have booked 24 hours in the left seat of our 2001 A36 Bonanza. Following my private, I plan on my instrument rating. I am fortunate to be able to fly with a CFII when traveling for business.
Aviation has been a life time dream and I have loved every minute of my time. I gave up my passion for golf--low handicap--to learn the skills of flying. Obviously, learning will always be part of flying. Golf can wait for a while.
I live in Columbia SC and own a commercial construction business. We operate throughout the southeast. I have a great wife of 20 years and 2 wonderful children.
I appreciate all the post as it is a great way to learn. There is so much experience in this forum. Thanks to all.
Go Gators!

Thomas, Welcome. A most unusual and beautiful coloration on the English Setter, Sage. What an antique you are !! : A longbow and a side by side shotgun. Did you know the modern toothbrush was invented in Tennessee? Anywhere else it would have been called a teethbrush!

Hi all, I’ve been lurking around for a while, so it is only proper to introduce myself for those I have not had the pleasure to already meet in person or on the internet. My name is Leldon Locke and I have been flying a Beechcraft since buying my first airplane, a 35-C33 Debonair in 1987. Before that it was renting the typical brand C or P, since then I have logged about 2300 hrs in 33’s/35’s/36’s and have a little B-55 and T-34 time. My little “deb” is still part of the family as a restoration “project”… but taking much tooo long… aka a hangar queen…Currently I’m flying a stretch deb… we call her “Sierra”. We keep the airplanes on our own turf strip (TA93) just a few miles west of Sherman, Tx. My wife and I really enjoy using the deb’s for x-country transportation and we’ve been over a great deal of the USA and Canada. The high points have been a couple of self guided trips to Alaska and one to the tundra of the NW territories, but we’ve been most everywhere west of the Mississippi River by beech. Mary jokes that we can’t go east. The last few years, we’ve been busy doing formation flying with the B2OSH crowd and airshows with Texas V-tails. The day job is a practicing small animal veterinarian. This time of year… the planes are called on to make multiple trips to SW Kansas to chase wild ring neck pheasants with my dogs. Flying my deb, working the dogs, and outdoor activities…. It just doesn’t get any better. J Attachment: phpeJTgwNAM.jpg

Welcome to our two newest pilots/hunters. I'm checking in from Ringneck Ranch, just south of Tipton, Kansas. We had a great day yesterday. I used the over/under in the morning, and the side-by-side (Grulla) in the afternoon. We'll do it again today, and might be able to sneak in a prairie chicken hunt this evening. It sure is great to be able to haul your ammo and guns in the Bonanza and not having anyone poking around in your stuff. And . . . an invitation to any Beech Talkers who like hunting, guns or shooting, to view the videos we have shot and posted (about 500 now) at http://www.guntalk.tv. Just click on the "Watch Now" button up top to fire up the player. Well, gotta go. Big family style breakfast in an hour, then it's off to the field. Oh, you can land your Bonanza on the very nice grass strip here and taxi up to your room! http://www.ringneckranch.net/Keith, the owner, flies for American Airlines, and he keeps his Cessna 182 in the hangar behind the room I'm in right now.
