Yes, yours went out! The Gabb caps when you first put the big o-rings on them appear to have a little slack in them. Once you put the cap back together (with the little o-ring), it will fit together nice. They will be bulbous, which is what you want. Remember these are not listed as something an owner can do (A&P must do it) and it should be signed off as a minor alteration.
