Here is a link the FAA AC on runway condition reporting. The reports are given in groups of three “5/5/5” or “2/2/2” or “2/3/4” to describe conditions on the runway broken into thirds (near/middle/far end).

That was a great. In the 360, if panned over to Jesse, you can see the ground going by. Thanks for posting.

After your comment I realized you have to download the Youtube app to see these properly. Maybe I should have been looking out the side window :D

Here is the view looking down towards the runway threshold. Note the runway lights. Lots of white.

That is EXACTLY what it looked like with no tracks of course. Little lights floating in an abyss of white.

That pic also shows why I had to pic one set of lights as ground reference on the 150’ wide runway.

Great job guys, gotta love landing in the winter day time. I much prefer landing at night in white out conditions.

By the look of that grin on Jesse's face Mark just hooked him another Citation pilot.

Here is the video from behind. Notice how we go from VFR to minimums.

Was the autopilot involved? (honest question)

Yes. You can hear the disconnect when Mark called ground ref. I looked up, saw the rabbit, then went back to the gauges until he called runway lights.

Nuts! So strange to have decent weather and fly into the snow/whiteout at the airport itself. Mark, I’m sure seeing familiar landmarks on short final made it more comfortable for you but it must’ve been disorienting nonetheless.

Jesse, nice transition and very smooth, you guys have the composure down!
